Good Things Take Time and Options

Finding the perfect fit for anything generally takes time and the availability of options. Whether it be identifying the right job, partner, memory care residence, or someone to build that special memory care residence - it all takes time to consider each of the options.

As far as insurance advising goes, I found a partner I like and feel I can trust. I met with Gordy and his associates this week to review all of my needs. We are in the process of sharing my required info to fill out the initial applications that will allow his office to provide me a quote.

I met with the local CPA to review the project and connect with him for some accounting and tax support. Dave is very knowledgeable and thorough; I think he will be a helpful companion on this journey.

After spending the week waiting to hear back from the builder and civil engineer, I was grateful they reached out to me over the weekend. Unfortunately, neither of them is able to take on the project at this time so I am still looking for those perfect fits.

I know the right people will be led to work with us. Prosper in Peace will provide unique, individualized care to those with dementia, and each member of the team who creates it will be specially placed for that purpose.

My recent training included seminars on various SBA programs, the concept of exit strategies and the options that exist, and some marketing approaches tailored for the internet. Additionally, the Pinal County Board of Supervisors held their scheduled meeting and it was streamed online so I attended that to get a feel for the members and the process.

I went out to the land after heavy rain one night, hoping for saturated ground. Well, since Arizona ground only saturates a few inches, I got a little help digging my post holes but not much.

Desert land with a dirt road that has 2 metal posts erected, one on each side.

The posts looking northwest

Desert land with a dirt road and multiple types of cactus.

Headed into the developed spot

Desert land with a dirt road that has 2 metal posts with a large cholla cactus in between them.

The posts looking southwest ~ no that one is not crooked, I think it is the angle.

These poles will have a cable that connects them creating a simple gate to keep out the riff-raff from the road and land cleared for a home. I was pretty happy with myself so I had to take a selfie when I was done ~ messy hair, sweat and all!

A proud, hot post-hole digger!
