My Personal Independence Celebration

Back into the full swing of things this past week and lots of news to report. I like when I have busy weeks like this because it makes the blog posts easy to compose.

I talked to the architect for a status update on the drawings and unfortunately, his employee was sick with COVID and unable to work on them. He expects her to return to work tomorrow and I should have them by the end of the week.

If she does not come back to work this week, he has another employee that will finish it. I am hopeful I will really have something to share with you next week.

Pinal county returned their feedback on the minor land division and I was able to share that with this survey company. They got back to me right away with the suggested updates and shared those directly with the county as well.

Pinal County has not responded yet but as soon as we get final approval on those updates we will create the mylar and submit. That will be our last step in the process.

I spent more than a couple of hours working on updating the pictures on the website. I even replaced a few pics and updated some of the fonts and text that were not uniform throughout. I was so proud of myself for doing all of the updates and working hard to complete them.

I re-ran the test and discovered that my efforts had saved me 0.3 seconds ~ so I still have a 'poor' rating at 3.5 second load time. This will require some further research to figure out. Thankfully most of you have reported no delays with loading so my hope is that I can get it fixed before too many people are affected.

“To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.” ~Winston Churchill

I was able to tour a local memory care facility and see the way that they are set up. It is nice to get ideas and see what is working at other facilities. It is also good to build those relationships and grow bonds with those who will be my friendly competition colleagues.

I celebrated my 25-year nursing anniversary yesterday; it is my own personal Independence Day. I am fortunate to serve in this career and consider it a blessing daily.

Fingers crossed you'll see the architectural drawings next week!
