Marching on….

Last week went by so quickly, probably because I was concentrating on preparing for vacation. It seems like that it always speeds on by and there is not enough time to totally prepare, ever. That being said, I did make it a productive one as I was readying myself for my daughter's wedding in Maui.

Prosper in Peace related, the focus was mainly on the business plan and working on those details. I spent some time with Karen, my mentor, reviewing the new details and for the most part, I am spot on. I am grateful for her guidance and suggestions though as I still have some things to learn. (don’t we always?) Once I return from Hawaii, we are going to start getting a package together to discuss with a lender. I just have to keep plugging away on those details.

I contacted the surveyor to ask for a more solid date on them coming out to the property and they still could not give me a date…."the end of the month". I return on the 26th so hopefully it will be after but if not, I have a backup plan. So excited to get them out there and marking the property boundaries for me!

I joined the Spotlight group in Tucson. This is a networking group that all provide services to seniors in various capacities. It is a good group of people who care about making a difference for our elders in southern Arizona. Good to be around like minds ~ birds of a feather and all…. At each monthly meeting, local organizations are able to showcase their services and one is even chosen to host each month. I am so looking forward to the day I can 'spotlight' Prosper in Peace and even host a networking event possibly right before we open! We'll see how the timing goes….

It would be an excellent opportunity for me to share with others, who know and understand the business, about the way we make a difference in the lives of people with dementia. It will help to build the relations with those who will be referring residents to our campus.

This week will be light on PiP as I am gaining a new son and it is definitely a cause for celebration! More to come next week ~ have a good one my friends!!
