Learning My New Routine

This has been another interesting week, as I believe they all will be going forward, in one way or another. I am getting a new routine down for my daily tasks but each day has been a little different, so I am learning that flexibility is the norm and to be grateful for my late-night energy surges to accomplish what I don’t get to during the day.

We had $20 more added to our coffers this week, which is not much in the scheme but still forward progress :) I attended a marketing educational seminar last week that was good information but not specifically focused on fund-raising so I have 2 more scheduled this week that I will try.

I realize I need to hone my message and be more succinct and direct in the request. My goal this week is to get a new post out for all of the social media platforms that fit these criteria and see what traction we get.

I am starting with a new group this week that focuses on women business owners to give them support and mentoring. I am hopeful they will offer specific fund-raising mentorship.

I did some banking and a credit check this week to ensure all is in place there; I am looking good to obtain SBA loans, if that is the route we have to go. One of the classes I attended last week focused specifically on alternative funding so I will be researching those options as well.

I am entertaining the thought of local activities to bring in cash flow as well, especially since we have the survey scheduled for next month and that will require cash. There are many options that have proven successful for others so I will be investigating those this week. More to come…

I took some personal time this past week as my youngest child is getting married and we had her a bridal shower this past weekend. I so enjoy working diligently on Prosper in Peace and appreciate choosing when I can best accomplish the tasks while maintaining my work/life balance. I am a lucky woman!
