Pop up shops are all the rage, but pop up homes? Tell me more....

My week started meeting with my buddy Lorenzo. He is also starting a business right now and we met in one of our classes. We get together every 2 weeks to check in with each other on how we're doing and share any good information we have learned.

This week, he introduced me to the concept of pop up homes. The company that has started the idea is called Boxabl. You can check out their link here to view the ADA version: Wheelchair | Boxabl

There are rumors that Elon Musk is getting into this market as well, and adding solar to the homes at a much cheaper price. What an awesome idea! I will be doing some more research because it could save me a lot of money on construction and solar costs if this is true.

Speaking of solar costs, the company finally got back to me with the quote and it is quite a bit more than I thought originally, but that is not surprising because everything is more expensive right now since I was originally pricing 2 years ago.

I have yet to hear from the electric company, so we'll see what they say before I further my efforts in this area. I will reach back out next week if I still have not heard anything.

I attended a CEU class on older adults with depression that was very informative. In those with dementia, the symptoms of depression are not as apparent as they are in other adults so screening and vigilant observation for behavior changes are key in this population.

I met with my SCORE mentors, Steve and Lysa to update them on the progress and discuss copyrighting the Prosper in Peace logo. I'll research that process a bit more when I return from my trip.

Tomorrow Ruby, my little 9-pound Maltipoo, and I will be taking off on a 3000+ mile driving journey up to Montana and back. We will get the chance to connect with a lot of my family that I've not seen for about 30 years. I am excited to visit with them and see the country.

The trip moving mom went off without a hitch last week and she is getting settled here in Arizona. I figure this is the time for me to travel as I'll be getting busy here real soon and unable to leave.

Next week I'll be sharing the garden with you. I'm anxious to show you all the fun pictures! Until then, have a peaceful week.
